Job Summary

Leisure Sports Hospitality is seeking a skilled Facilities Maintenance Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities and equipment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct regular facility and equipment inspections to identify and report any issues or problems to the Chief Engineer.
  • Complete assigned engineering and maintenance work orders, documenting repair information and returning completed work orders to the Chief Engineer.
  • Perform regular preventive and ongoing repair and maintenance duties at prescribed intervals.
  • Operate and use all equipment, tools, and machinery properly and according to safety guidelines, storing items securely after use.
  • Follow all property and OSHA safety guidelines.
  • Inform the Chief Engineer of any parts or supplies used out of inventory.
  • Complete special projects assigned by the Chief Engineer.
  • Exercise the highest level of care when using chemicals or hazardous materials, following guidelines and precautions on SDS sheets.
  • Ensure adherence to applicable standards of LSI/IHRSA and/or relevant regulatory bodies.
  • Be available to assist with facility/equipment-related emergencies.
  • Perform other responsibilities or projects assigned by the Chief Engineer.

Requirements

  • Ability to write, speak, read, hear, and see.
  • Ability to walk, kneel, and bend.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to lbs.
  • Ability to stand for prolonged periods.
  • Ability to climb stairs and ladders.
  • Ability to operate a 25-foot lift.
  • Ability to operate light to heavy machinery and hand tools.
  • Ability to set up, take down, and rearrange equipment for functions.
  • Ability to work with chemicals or other potentially hazardous materials.

Working Conditions

The Facilities Maintenance Specialist will work in a fast-paced environment with frequent exposure to chemicals, loud noises, and physical demands. The ability to work independently and as part of a team is essential.
