About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Virtual Special Education Teacher to join our team at The Menta Education Group. As a Virtual Special Education Teacher, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our students.

Responsibilities:

  • Teach all subjects in a virtual classroom setting
  • Provide differentiated learning
  • Work collaboratively with staff to yield positive results for students
  • Provide a virtual social-emotional learning environment

Requirements:

  • Current, issued IL PEL (Professional Educator's License) LBS1 (Learning Behavior Specialist I) is required
  • Ability to virtually teach a classroom of students within all basic instructional areas
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with demonstrated ability to speak and write clearly and persuasively
