**Job Summary:**

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Clinical Nursing Supervisor to join our team at Albany Medical Center. In this role, you will be responsible for providing leadership and guidance to nursing staff, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care.

**About the Role:**

The Clinical Nursing Supervisor will work closely with the Nurse Manager and Administrative Nursing Supervisor to develop and implement policies, programs, and services that align with the hospital's mission and vision. You will be responsible for mentoring professional caregivers, facilitating patient access, communication, and transitions throughout the acute care stay.

**Key Responsibilities:**

* Provide direction and support to unit-based staff* Collaborate with other service and department leaders to achieve short- and long-term goals and objectives* Develop and implement policies, programs, and services that meet the needs of patients and families* Ensure that competent, compassionate patient care is uniformly provided to customers, including referring facilities, hospital staff, and patients in the inpatient, ambulatory, and community settings* Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of evidence-based practice guidelines* Stay up-to-date with regulatory requirements and ensure compliance with hospital policies and procedures

**Requirements:**

* A degree in nursing or a related field* Current licensure as a registered nurse in New York State* At least 3 years of experience in a similar role* Strong leadership and communication skills* Ability to work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams* Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills

**Benefits:**

Albany Medical Center offers a competitive salary range of $95,000 - $125,000 per year, depending on experience. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, which includes medical, dental, and vision insurance, we also offer generous paid time off, retirement savings plan, and education assistance program.
