As a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse at Ambercare, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on patients' lives. Your responsibilities will include:
Key Responsibilities- Providing visits as assigned by the Clinical Services Manager, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation phases of the nursing process
- OBTAINING DATA AND ASSESSING NECESSARY INFORMATION FROM PATIENT PHYSICAL, PSYCHOLOGICAL, SOCIAL, AND SPIRITUAL FACTORS THAT MAY IMPACT PATIENT AND FAMILY NEEDS AND COORDINATING INTERVENTION BY OTHER MEMBERS OF THE INTERDISCIPLINARY TEAM
- INITIATING COMMUNICATION WITH THE ATTENDING PHYSICIAN, INTERDISCIPLINARY TEAM, AND OTHER AGENCIES FOR THE PURPOSE OF COORDINATING OPTIMAL CARE
- PROVIDING VISITS TO ASSESS PATIENT NEEDS AND UPDATE THE PLAN OF CARE
- PERFORMING THERAPEUTIC, PREVENTATIVE, AND REHABILITATIVE NURSING PROCEDURES AS DIRECTED BY THE ATTENDING PHYSICIAN
- MAINTAINING ACCURATE PATIENT RECORDS, CHARTS, PROGRESS NOTES, REPORTS, AND PREPARING CARE PLANS TIMELY
- Registered Nurse:
- Graduate from an accredited registered nursing program and licensed in the state
- At least one (1) year clinical practical nursing experience preferably in intensive care, rehabilitation, or medical surgical nursing (preferred)
- LPN:
- Graduate of an accredited practical nurse or vocational nursing program.
- Has three (3) years of nursing experience. Community/home health or medical/surgical experience is preferred.
- Currently licensed as a licensed practical nurse or licensed vocational nurse in the state.
- Home health experience preferred
- Possess and maintain valid CPR certification
- Must have reliable transportation, current driver's license, and appropriate automobile insurance
We offer a competitive salary, with estimated earnings ranging from $60,000 to $80,000 annually, depending on experience.
