Job Summary

The Front Desk Supervisor is a key member of the hotel team, responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless guest experience. This role requires a high level of attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
  • Assist the Front Desk Manager in overseeing the front desk operations, including checking in and out guests, handling room assignments, and resolving guest complaints.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to guests, responding to their needs and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Maximize room revenue through effective room merchandising and upselling techniques.
  • Monitor and maintain accurate records of guest interactions, including check-in and check-out times, room assignments, and any issues or concerns.
  • Collaborate with other hotel departments, such as housekeeping and maintenance, to ensure seamless guest experiences.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance skills and knowledge in customer service, front desk operations, and hotel management.
Requirements
  • At least 2-3 years of experience in a hotel or hospitality setting, with a focus on front desk operations and customer service.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; college coursework in hospitality or a related field preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with guests, colleagues, and management.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
