This Welding Fabricator role at Flowserve Corporation in Bridgeville, PA involves welding parts and components for equipment, products, and installations using various methods. The ideal candidate will have experience in mechanical manufacturing, with a strong understanding of quality workmanship and customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Select the appropriate welding method for each project, ensuring efficient and high-quality results.
• Plan and lay out work from technical drawings and specifications, using mathematical calculations and measuring instruments.
• Set up and operate conventional lathes to prepare welded parts, demonstrating attention to detail and precision.
• Properly identify materials and components, ensuring accurate assembly and welding operations.
• Conduct welding repairs on raw and finished parts, meeting production goals and schedules.
• Collaborate with machinists and assemblers to discuss and solve problems related to repairs and equipment.
• Record accurate and timely data on computer-based systems or in manual logs, maintaining a safe and organized workspace.
• Apply an understanding of process flow and document control to ensure smooth operations.

Requirements

• A minimum of 1 year of welding experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Able to define, evaluate, and discuss quality workmanship related to welding.
• Must demonstrate a customer-service mindset for on-time delivery and quality work.
• Standing for long periods required, repetitive arm motions, frequent lifting with occasional lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Demonstrated track record of reliable attendance; able to work overtime and weekends as required.
• Good technical understanding and ability to work independently.
