Basketball Official

We are seeking a highly skilled Basketball Official to join our team at the YMCA of Southwest Florida. As a respected member of our community, we offer a dynamic and supportive work environment that fosters growth and development.

This is a part-time opportunity that requires officiating adult basketball games for enrolled participants. The successful candidate will be responsible for enforcing program rules and policies, interacting with coaches, parents, and staff, and ensuring the safety of members and participants.

• Officiate basketball games in a fair and impartial manner
• Maintain constant surveillance of program participants to ensure their safety
• Interact with coaches, parents, and staff in a professional and respectful manner
• Enforce program rules and policies as outlined in the YMCA's policies and procedures

• A minimum of 2 years of experience as a referee or official in a sports organization
• Current CPR and First Aid certifications
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
