Fusion Medical Staffing-Therapy is seeking a dedicated and skilled Infection Control Occupational Therapist to join our team in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. This 13-week travel assignment presents an exciting opportunity for professionals looking to make a positive impact while exploring new locations.
About the Role
The ideal candidate will possess strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with various personnel, including physicians and ancillary staff. Responsibilities
This role involves providing and coordinating patient care, monitoring responses to interventions, and reporting outcomes. The successful candidate will also be responsible for administering medications as ordered, maintaining cleanliness of rooms, and transporting patients as needed. Additionally, they will perform other duties as assigned, ensuring seamless integration with the healthcare team.
Requirements
To excel in this position, candidates should possess one to three years of experience as an Occupational Therapist, with certifications required for specific positions. Critical thinking, service excellence, and good interpersonal communication skills are essential, along with the ability to read and comprehend written instructions and follow verbal directives. Physical abilities include remaining in a stationary position, moving equipment (50-100lbs), pushing, pulling, and bending.
