Job Title: Assistant Design Manager, Architecture

We're seeking a highly skilled Assistant Design Manager, Architecture to join our team at Tapestry, Inc. This role will play a critical part in the development and completion of store projects across our international markets, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage international store projects, including feasibilities, renovations, expansions, and enhancement projects, from initial concept to completion.
  • Review projects with senior design managers and cross-functional teams for alignment.
  • Assist in the management of the global project schedule and team initiatives.
  • Update projects as needed to meet business needs and budget constraints.
  • Review construction and millwork drawings for accurate information, materials, and sizing.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Architecture or Interior Design preferred.
  • Strong proficiency in AutoCAD, Photoshop, Illustrator, SketchUp, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to read and present information from architectural plans, sections, and diagrams.
  • Ability to work independently and cross-functionally with other business groups.
  • Relevant experience in a retail architectural/design position a plus.
  • Relevant experience in reviewing construction sets, millwork drawings, and material samples a plus.
  • Must be initiative-taking, highly productive, and have excellent communication skills.
  • Must be a highly organized, self-starter with the ability to handle multiple priorities at once.

Work Setup:

This role will be based in our corporate office in New York City, with 3 days (Tuesday-Thursday) in office and 2 days working remotely.
