About UsWe are currently seeking a highly skilled Cath Lab CV Rad Technologist to join our team of dedicated professionals. The successful candidate will have experience working in a cath lab setting, with certification in radiologic technology and a strong understanding of cardiovascular procedures.
Job SummaryThe Cath Lab CV Rad Technologist will be responsible for preparing and assisting in cardiovascular procedures while maintaining high standards of patient care and a sterile environment. This role requires excellent communication and teamwork skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:- Equipment Preparation: Prepare equipment before and during procedures to ensure optimal performance.
- Patient Care: Identify and assess patient condition, prepare, position, and provide patient care according to established protocols.
- Sterile Environment Maintenance: Establish and maintain a sterile environment to prevent infection and promote patient safety.
- Preceptorship: Serve as a preceptor for new hires and radiology students, providing guidance and support to ensure a smooth transition into their roles.
- Radiologic Technology Certification: Registered Radiologic Technologist (RRT) or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) certification preferred.
- Experience: One year of experience working in a cath lab setting, with a strong understanding of cardiovascular procedures.
- Education: Completion of a 24-month formal program or military program in radiologic technology, with American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) eligibility and/or current RRCIS registration.
- Competitive Salary: $27.84-$45.46 per hour, based on previous work experience.
