Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Facilities Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the efficient and safe operation of our facilities. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising maintenance staff, managing vendor relationships, and ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate daily activities of assigned staff to ensure timely completion of workload and adherence to facility standards.
  • Train new employees on proper facility procedures and safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules and procedures to optimize facility operations.
  • Collaborate with the Facilities team to effectively plan work orders, manage inventory, and coordinate procurement and vendor management.
  • Monitor and verify accurate records of regulatory maintenance and repair activities to ensure compliance.
  • Act as liaison between authorities having jurisdiction and PeaceHealth leadership to ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Collaborate with external contractors and vendors to maintain buildings and systems.
  • Assist with developing and monitoring departmental budgets to ensure cost-effective operations within the approved budget.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor of Science preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant facilities experience required; 2 years of facility management experience preferred.
  • Required: Driver's License; Preferred: Certified Healthcare Facilities Manager by the American Hospital Association.
  • Knowledge of facilities, safety, and current issues related to employee safety regulations as well as state, local, and federal regulatory agencies.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Understanding of HIPAA, safety, and security regulations as well as the ability to liaison with city, state, county, and federal officials.
  • Ability to manage complex projects in a dynamic and evolving environment.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications.
