Certified Medical Assistant Cardiology Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Certified Medical Assistant to join our Cardiology team at AdventHealth. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and supporting our physicians in delivering high-quality medical services.
Key Responsibilities- Assist physicians and nurse practitioners with patient exams and procedures
- Take and record patient vital signs, medical history, and other relevant information
- Prepare and maintain patient rooms, exam areas, and medical equipment
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members
- Perform administrative tasks, such as scheduling appointments and processing medical records
- Certification as a Medical Assistant through a recognized organization, such as the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA)
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
