Job Summary

PORT CITY AIR INC is seeking a skilled Prep Cook to join our team. As a Prep Cook, you will assist our experienced chefs with food preparation, ensuring that our high-quality dishes are consistently delivered to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with food preparation, including chopping, slicing, and dicing ingredients
  • Help with the production of large-scale orders, ensuring timely and efficient delivery
  • Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, work surfaces, and other areas of the facility
  • Follow recipes and presentation guidelines to maintain our high standards
  • Assist with loading and unloading of fleet vehicles for deliveries and events
  • Help with receiving and stocking inventory, ensuring that our kitchen is well-stocked and organized
  • Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management

Requirements
  • Fundamental culinary knowledge required
  • Some previous food service experience preferred
  • Ability to remain calm and courteous under pressure
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Attention to detail
  • Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug test
