Nurse Practitioner

The Good Samaritan Society is seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team in providing high-quality care to residents of all ages in a long-term care setting. As an LPN, you will work under the supervision of a registered nurse, advanced practice provider, or physician to provide professional nursing care and demonstrate knowledge of nursing principles.

• Assess resident conditions, administer medications, and collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of each resident.
• Counsel residents, family members, and/or advocates on prevention and treatment plans.
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of resident interactions, including medication administration, behavior, activity, and dietary information.

• Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
• Hold an unencumbered Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license with State Nursing board and/or possess multi-state licensure privileges.
• Ongoing education and training requirements may apply.
