Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced General Manager to lead our Wendy's restaurant team. As a General Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the restaurant, ensuring exceptional customer service, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sales and Profitability: Manage sales goals versus budget and prior year, execute national and local marketing programs, and develop plans to resolve unfavorable trends and enhance sales.
  • Cost Management: Manage profit goals versus budget and prior year, monitor food, labor, and paper costs, and track waste levels.
  • Human Resources: Ensure the execution of the restaurant's overall Human Resources programs, process crew applications, and maintain an on-going system for recruitment, development, recognition, and retention of store management and crew.
  • Quality, Service, and Cleanliness: Achieve and maintain Sparkle certification, train and execute all food safety procedures, and monitor product quality during shift.
  • Training: Provide proper training and development in compliance with the Company's standards, conduct timely and quality store orientations, and utilize Crew Orientation and WE Learn Training system.
  • Operations: Ensure store compliance with Company operating policies and procedures, work with DM to establish store priorities, and develop and execute store plans.
  • Controls: Ensure execution of Company policies and procedures for the control of cash, property, product, and equipment, and manage store inventory.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Knowledge: Company's operating systems and procedures, Company's policies and procedures, P&L analysis and corrective measures, supervisory practices, planning and budgeting, interviewing practices, training and development practices, and federal, state, and local employment laws.
  • Language Skills: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations, and ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
  • Mathematical Skills: Ability to calculate figures and amounts, and ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
  • Reasoning Ability: Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions, and ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
Work Environment

The General Manager must be able to stand for long periods without a break, and be able to travel to the bank, other restaurants, Area Office, etc. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
