Job Summary:

The Finance Director will be a key member of the Finance team, reporting directly to the SVP Finance. This role requires a proactive and highly visible individual who can drive growth, develop robust financial models, and provide strong analytical leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

* Serve as the business unit's finance partner in driving growth and strategic planning
* Develop and lead annual operating and capital budgeting and planning processes
* Lead monthly forecasting, analysis, and reporting efforts for the business unit
* Oversee the monthly revenue cycle for the business unit, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and control over critical revenue recognition processes
* Work closely with the Accounting team to develop uniform accounting policies and procedures
* Regularly analyze operations to identify areas for improvement, reorganization, elimination, expansion, or additional investment

Supervisory Responsibilities:

Directly supervise 1-2 Full-time Equivalent (FTE) regular employees and/or contractors. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Minimum Required Qualifications:

* Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting
* Minimum of 10 years of applicable experience in roles of increasing responsibility, size, and scope in a Finance capacity of organizations that have experienced rapid growth and scaled successfully
* Equivalent combination of education and experience Certificates and Licenses: None required

Other Required Qualifications:

* Proven track record in successfully hiring, mentoring, and building great teams
* Proven skillset in strategic and operational planning, budgeting, and forecasting
* Ability to analyze and synthesize large amounts of data to identify and present succinct observations and recommendations to the Leadership Team and their functional leaders
* Excellent communication (verbal and written) and influencing skills
* Strong ethics - has a high personal and professional ethical standard and fosters a diverse and respectful workplace
* Strong computer proficiency developing complex financial and analytical models, and familiarity working with ERP systems and integrations, preferably using Salesforce, NetSuite, and Hyperion PBCS
* Ability to interface at all levels of the organization and a demonstrated commitment to internal and external customer service
* Ability to travel 10% of the time
* Ability to clear required background check

Desired Qualifications:

* CPA, CMA certification or MBA is a plus
* Prior experience as in an educational services/Ed Tech business is a plus
