Job Summary

Cleveland Clinic is seeking a highly skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for performing a wide range of radiology exams and fluoroscopic procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform general radiology, portable, and fluoroscopic procedures (GIs, GUs, pediatrics, arthrograms, spine center)
  • Produce images of optimal quality for interpretation with accuracy and without delay
  • Maintain documentation requirements to ensure that all technical data is entered timely and accurately
  • Notify management and take proper action to address equipment malfunctions
  • Educate patients regarding procedures, equipment, and exam to ensure understanding and cooperation
  • Ensure patients' comfort and safety during and after the exam
  • Assist with scheduling patient procedures
  • Monitor and determine priority of patients
  • Demonstrate care and operation of Radiology equipment according to technical specifications and applications
  • Assist Radiologist with fluoroscopic, GU, GI, and pediatric procedures
  • Acquire, archive, transmit, and print images via PACS
  • Capable of after-hours transmission of images and appropriate paperwork
  • Report immediately any malfunctions to help desk and PACS Administrator
  • Process billing via RIS
  • Provide instruction and mentoring to new hires and Radiology students
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology
  • Must be a Registered Technologist credentialed by The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists R.T.(R) (ARRT), in good standing
  • Current state licensure required prior to employment
  • (BLS) certification required
