We are seeking a detail-oriented and compassionate Residential Care Coordinator to join our team at MAB Community Services. As a key member of our residential care team, you will provide support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in a cluster home setting.

About the Role:

As a Residential Care Coordinator, you will work under the supervision of the Residential Coordinator to ensure high-quality care for participants. This includes actively participating in regular supervision, staff meetings, case reviews, ISPs, and other required training seminars. You will also be responsible for maintaining certifications, completing tasks assigned by supervisors, and ensuring a safe and clean living environment for all participants.

Key Responsibilities:

* Provide direct support to and teach participants in the completion of their activities of daily living, including bathing, cooking, cleaning, toileting, shopping, and other essential skills.
* Observe and report on participants' physical, mental, and emotional conditions, serving as a positive role model in areas of interpersonal relations, social behavior, and appropriate dress for the weather.
* Manage challenging situations, facilitate problem-solving, and provide positive behavioral supports, using sound judgment where limited guidelines exist.
* Accompany participants to their community activities, appointments, work, errands, medical visits, religious services, and other outings as needed.

Requirements:

* High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
* Valid MA driver's license and ability to drive program vehicles and wheelchair vans to transport participants to appointments, day programs, recreational activities, etc..
* Ability to communicate effectively with participants, their families, co-workers, and community professionals.
* Comfort with computers and ability to learn new reporting software.

The estimated salary for this position is $45,000 - $55,000 per year, based on location and qualifications.
