User Acquisition Data Scientist

Niantic is looking for a skilled Data Scientist to support the development and growth of Monster Hunter Now through data-driven insights.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Analyze complex datasets to identify patterns and opportunities for growing Monster Hunter Now through new user acquisition.
  2. Maintain and enhance SKAN ETL pipelines and conversion value methodology to ensure rigorous data collection and analysis.
  3. Collaborate with marketing, product managers, and engineers to identify and prioritize data-driven objectives and strategies.
  4. Generate and present regular reports, dashboards, and visualizations to communicate actionable insights and recommendations.
  5. Develop and interpret LTV prediction modeling and ROAS calculations to optimize user acquisition campaigns.
  6. Stay up-to-date with mobile gaming industry trends and emerging technologies in data science and data engineering.
  7. Candidate must be able to communicate effectively through written and verbal communications and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Requirements:

  1. A degree in a quantitative field or equivalent experience.
  2. Solid understanding of data engineering and statistical methodologies, and tools.
  3. Previous experience in UA data analysis, statistical modeling, and data visualization using tools like Python, R, SQL, or similar.
  4. Ability to translate complex data findings into actionable narratives for a non-technical audience.
  5. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  6. Possession of passion for gaming and familiarity with Monster Hunter Now is highly desirable.
