Job Description

UMB Financial Corporation seeks a skilled HCS Business Development Lead to join our team. The ideal candidate will have at least eight years of prior sales experience and six years in the healthcare payments industry, with a solid understanding of healthcare tax advantaged programs and card / transaction processing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a prospect call plan to identify and generate qualified leads in an established geographic territory within the appropriate distribution channels.
  • Solicit, coordinate internally, and respond to Request for Proposals (RFP) to obtain new HSA, multipurpose debit card, virtual payment, and other healthcare payment-related business.
  • Prepare and present customized proposals to Healthcare Services prospects and clients.
  • Provide an appropriate level of support to internal teams, such as Implementation and Client Experience, as prospects transition to clients.
Requirements
  • Six (6) years' experience in the healthcare payments industry.
  • At least eight (8) years prior sales experience.
  • Able to identify and pursue business leads with revenue generation and profitability in mind.
Compensation

The estimated salary for this role is between $69,230 and $179,300 annually, depending on experience level and location. UMB offers a comprehensive benefits package, including paid time off, a 401(k) matching program, annual incentive pay, and more.
