Industrial Electrician Job Description

Quad is seeking a skilled Industrial Electrician to join our manufacturing production support team in Martinsburg, WV. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for troubleshooting and repairing electrical issues in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Use basic electrical troubleshooting and repair techniques to resolve issues in a timely manner
  • Work with voltages up to 480 vac and have a working knowledge of PLCs
  • Install and troubleshoot relay and PLC-controlled equipment
  • Work with AC/DC motors and drives
  • Perform preventative maintenance and machine operation tasks
Requirements:
  • At least 3 years of experience as an Electrician in an industrial maintenance setting
  • Must be proficient in repairs of Control Systems, PLCs, and AC/DC Drives
  • Prior experience working with motors, transformers, control systems, and power distribution
  • Ability to read blueprints, understand tolerances and measurements, and work with standard and metric sizes
  • Ability to work a 12-hour rotating shift, working holidays and overtime as needed
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Printing knowledge is preferred, but not required
  • Experience working in industrial maintenance is preferred
