Key Responsibilities:

  • Collect blood and other specimens from patients with minimal discomfort.
  • Properly label and handle specimens to ensure accurate testing results.
  • Operate laboratory equipment, including centrifuges and computer systems.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, clients, and staff to ensure seamless care.
  • Perform clerical duties, such as filing and report distribution.
  • Collect drug screens using the Chain of Custody Process.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Phlebotomy Certification (CPT) preferred.
  • At least six months of phlebotomy experience.

Working Environment:

  • May require unsupervised access to restricted areas.
  • May be required to travel between facilities.
  • May be scheduled to work various shifts based on departmental needs.
