Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Dermatology Medical Scribe Specialist to join our team at Advanced Specialty Care, P.C. This is a full-time opportunity that requires strong documentation skills, excellent communication abilities, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Accompany physicians during consultations and examinations, transcribing physical exam details using medical terminology and documentation guidelines within the electronic health record.
  • Complete all necessary documentation of patient encounters in the medical chart, including entering orders as the physician dictates.
  • Room patients, perform medication reconciliation, assist with minor procedures, provide patient education, and undertake other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
  • Proficiency in typing/data entry and good spelling, punctuation, grammar, and oral communication skills.
  • A solid understanding of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, diagnostic procedures, pharmacology, and treatment assessments to the extent required to understand and accurately transcribe dictated reports.
  • A high level of professionalism and maturity, with the ability to work effectively and efficiently with minimal supervision.

Compensation:

The estimated salary for this position is $55,000 - $65,000 per year, based on experience. A $1,000 bonus is also offered.
