The Opportunity
This role is responsible for supporting senior leadership by developing and managing forecasting models, providing competitive intelligence, and conducting market opportunity analyses. You will lead cross-functional projects, drive business reviews, and collaborate with stakeholders to inform decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
Forecasting: Develop short-term and long-term forecasts, commercial opportunity assessments, and uncertainty analyses using market knowledge, primary and secondary data, and KPIs. Create robust market model projections and scenarios with business partners.
Competitive Intelligence and Market Insights: Gather external and internal competitive intelligence, lead scenario planning workshops, and identify market trends and growth drivers. Consolidate and share insights with leadership and broader forums.
Project Management: Develop detailed project plans, coordinate large cross-functional projects, define project scope, goals, and deliverables, and ensure timely execution.
Leading Business Reviews: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather inputs, highlight key priorities, track goals, and surface risks to senior leadership.
Internal and Field Stakeholder Management: Effectively communicate and partner with internal and external stakeholders to gain agreement on forecasts, projects, and business objectives.
Ad Hoc Requests from Leadership: Manage and execute unplanned tasks, demonstrating flexibility, quick problem-solving skills, and effective task prioritization.
Process and Teamwork: Establish the Forecast Center of Excellence, implement forecasting and analytical protocols, and contribute to team performance through active collaboration.
Risk Management and Budgeting: Identify potential risks, develop mitigation strategies, track project expenses, and adjust budgets as needed.
Leadership and Accountability: Support a culture of candor, take ownership, and demonstrate strong executive presence.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required, MBA or Master's preferred
- 5+ years of forecasting experience, preferably in healthcare
- Advanced Excel skills and proficiency in market BI tools
- Strong business acumen, interpersonal skills, and executive presence
- Experience leading projects with multiple cross-functional teams
Estimated Salary Range: $109,300 - $218,500
