Job Description

As a Caregiver at Holistic Home Healthcare, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional in-home care to individuals who require assistance with daily activities. Your dedication and commitment will make a meaningful difference in the lives of those you serve.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs): Provide support with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility to help clients maintain their personal hygiene and comfort.
  • Medication Management: Assist clients with medication schedules, ensuring they take the right medications at prescribed times and monitoring for any potential side effects or issues.
  • Meal Preparation and Nutrition: Plan and prepare nutritious meals, considering dietary restrictions and preferences, and ensure clients stay hydrated and maintain a healthy diet.
  • Light Housekeeping: Help with light housekeeping tasks, including cleaning, laundry, and organization, to maintain a safe and comfortable living environment.
  • Companionship and Social Engagement: Engage clients in conversation, activities, and outings to combat loneliness, promote mental and emotional well-being, and provide emotional support.
  • Mobility Assistance: Assist clients with mobility issues, including walking, transferring in and out of beds or chairs, and using mobility aids like walkers or wheelchairs.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of care provided, changes in the client's condition, and any concerns or issues, reporting to the supervisor as needed.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Home Health Aide (HHA) preferred.
  • Previous caregiving experience is a plus, but not required.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Empathetic and patient with a genuine desire to help others.
  • Reliable and trustworthy.
Compensation and Benefits

The estimated salary for this position is $45,000 per year, based on the location and industry standards. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a range of benefits, including paid time off, health insurance, and opportunities for professional growth and development.
