Job Summary

Aspire Bakeries is a leading North American baking company with a strong presence in the specialty frozen baked goods market. As a FSQA Lead, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and quality of our products. You will oversee a team of Quality Assurance technicians, coordinate quality assurance and food safety activities, and contribute to the development and implementation of our overall quality programs. Your expertise in food safety, attention to detail, and ability to effectively lead and motivate your team will be essential to your success in this role.

Responsibilities:

* Plan and coordinate quality assurance and food safety tasks to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards.

* Oversee the daily duties of Quality Assurance technicians, including inspections, audits, and investigations.

* Perform and follow-up on product dimensional checks and product control attribute analysis.

* Assist in the development and implementation of quality programs and procedures.

* Collaborate with production supervisory personnel and FSQA leadership to resolve quality and food safety issues.

* Generate non-conformance reports and follow-up on ingredients placed on hold.

* Maintain and improve the quality, legality, and safety of products and processes.

Requirements:

* High school diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED) required.

* Minimum 2 years relevant food safety and quality assurance experience in an automated food processing plant.

* Ability to communicate in English and Spanish.

* Basic computer skills.
