About the Role

This 13-week contract position offers a unique chance to work as a vital member of a dynamic healthcare team. As a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist, you will play a critical role in assisting patients by utilizing your expertise in MRI technology.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate MRI scanners and related equipment while ensuring patient safety and comfort.
  • Position patients and coils on a table that slides inside the scanner.
  • Inject contrast media as required and set appropriate technical parameters for optimal image quality.
  • Monitor image data on computer screens during scans and recognize any abnormalities.
Requirements
  • A valid state radiology registration is mandatory.
  • Completion of a two-year approved School of Radiologic Technology is required.
  • Eighteen months of MRI Tech experience, preferably in a critical care setting, is highly desirable.
  • Registry by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) is essential.
