Nighttime Caregiver

We are seeking a Nighttime Caregiver to join our team of dedicated professionals providing residential services to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

This is a full-time, part-time, or relief position available in various locations including Newark, Lyons, Macedon, Clyde, Palmyra, and Sodus. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing direct care and support to individuals in a residential setting, promoting their independence and well-being.

• Plan and support individuals' daily activities, which may include household tasks, recreational activities, learning activities, physical fitness activities, development of individual interests, and money management.
• Assist individuals in maintaining safe and healthy lifestyles, including providing assistance with eating, bathing, dressing, and using the bathroom.
• Administer medications accurately and recordkeeping, as well as schedule and transport individuals to medical appointments and other community activities.
• Prevent, recognize, and report any abuse or neglect towards the individuals we support.

We are looking for an individual who is willing to learn and has a caring heart. A background in healthcare or social services is an asset, but not required. What's most important is your passion for making a difference in people's lives and your ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
