Job Overview

Liberty Health is seeking a skilled Hospice Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team.

This full-time position is based in Sanford/Siler City and offers a competitive salary of $85,000 per year.

Responsibilities

  • Apply nursing theories and concepts in patient care.
  • Care for patients while ensuring compliance with reimbursement guidelines.
  • Coordinate physical care with families, patients, physicians, and the hospice team.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and agency personnel at all levels.
  • Attend Interdisciplinary Team meetings and participate in quality reviews as scheduled by the agency.

Requirements

  • Current RN licensure in the state of practice.
  • Successful completion of a nursing education from an approved school of nursing.
  • Two years of clinical nursing experience, with at least one year of hospice nursing experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of home health and hospice care programs, including the nurse's role in the patient care team.
  • Working knowledge of nursing principles and practices according to state laws, agency policies, and procedures.
  • 12 hours of continuing education annually.
  • CPR certification.
  • Flexibility to accept travel assignments and weekend/evening shifts, as needed.
