We are looking for a skilled Treasury Analyst to join our Corporate Treasury department at Wellington Management Company, LLP.

The Role

The Treasury Analyst will support the firm's global corporate treasury operations, including cash management, corporate investments, bank account management, cash forecasting, management analysis, and reporting. Additionally, this role will gain exposure to various aspects of Corporate Treasury, including corporate hedging programs (FX, compensation plans, etc.) and the firm's seed capital program.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage daily cash activities, including initiating and authorizing electronic payments and executing investment transactions in banking and investment platforms
  • Liaise with banks to resolve cash management and bank account issues
  • Manage global bank account operations, including opening, closing, and maintenance of bank accounts across all banking relationships
  • Support cash forecasting processes
  • Support corporate hedging programs and execute trades associated with these programs
  • Support and administer the firm seed capital program
  • Assist with banking platform and treasury workstation (GTreasury) user administration and other bank account administration activities
  • Prepare cash management reports and other ad-hoc analytical reporting
Requirements and Skills
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance with a strong GPA preferred
  • 0-3 years professional experience
  • Strong technical skills, proficient with Excel; experience with Tableau, Python, or SQL is a plus
  • A strong work ethic with a willingness and desire to learn
  • Proven organization skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask and thrive in a challenging fast-paced environment
  • Maturity due to confidential nature of responsibilities
  • Excellent communication skills, interacting and collaborating with all levels of counterparties both internal and external to the firm
  • Displays intellectual curiosity and the ability to think strategically
  • Interest in capital markets is a plus
  • Experience with Workday, GTreasury, or other Treasury Management System/bank platform is a plus
Compensation and Benefits

Base salary range: $65,000 - $150,000 per year. We strive to pay employees fairly and competitively across all levels and roles.
