We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapist to join our team at Ardent Health - Lovelace UNM Rehabilitation Hospital. This is a permanent, full-time opportunity for a dedicated healthcare professional to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our patients.
Job SummaryThe successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality physical therapy services to patients with various rehabilitation needs. With a focus on patient-centered care, you will work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to develop and implement personalized treatment plans that promote optimal recovery and functionality.
About the Role- Provide one-on-one physical therapy sessions to patients with diverse conditions, including orthopedic, neurological, and cardiovascular impairments.
- Conduct thorough assessments to identify areas of improvement and set realistic goals for patient progress.
- Design and implement evidence-based treatment plans that incorporate exercise programs, modalities, and assistive devices as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of patient progress, including treatment notes, goals, and outcomes.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Master's degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent from an accredited institution.
- Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in New Mexico.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in acute rehabilitation settings, preferably with a focus on neurological or orthopedic populations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for prolonged periods.
- Competitive salary range: $83,000 - $110,000 per year, based on experience.
