Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Advanced Ophthalmic Sales Specialist to join our team. Reporting to the Regional Sales Director, this highly specialized account manager position covers a critical geography in the Pacific Northwest. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing key accounts within the market and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Generate sales and provide account support to assigned account base. Primary accounts will be large, regional based accounts.
  • Represent Bausch + Lomb Retina Ophthalmics at key regional and national industry meetings.
  • Coordinate field activities with sales, marketing, and reimbursement departments.
  • Provide sales training support to new and existing hires with Retina sales responsibilities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in pharmaceuticals with a minimum of 2 years with Ophthalmology sales experience, Retina experience preferred
  • Demonstrated understanding of a 'buy and bill' sales environment
  • Knowledge of reimbursement procedures
  • Excellent communication and relationship building skills
  • Ability to work with multiple departments simultaneously

Salary: $145,000 - $195,000 per year. U.S. based employees may be eligible for short-term and/or long-term incentives. They may also be eligible to participate in medical, dental, vision insurance, disability and life insurance, a 401(k) plan and company match, a tuition reimbursement program (select degrees), company holidays, and well-being benefits, among others.
