Job Description

As the FM Contracts Manager, you will be the lead representative working directly with the US Property + Operations team and venue facilities managers across managed assets across the North American portfolio. This role is responsible for developing and managing contracts, including supplier/vendor negotiations and ensuring compliance with procurement laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage contracts, including supplier/vendor negotiations and ensuring compliance with procurement laws and regulations.
  • Lead supplier negotiations, engage suppliers for timely resolution of issues, and conduct quarterly business reviews to identify potential financial and procedural improvements.
  • Provide consultation to internal and external customers, collaborate with various department heads and clinicians to create a competitive sourcing environment.
  • Identify and develop cost reduction initiatives, present business cases with data analysis and implement alternative strategies for cost savings illustrating value for money.
  • Measure and monitor contract compliance, supplier performance, and ensure accuracy of price and product information associated with contracted items.
  • Support facilities procurement strategies, synthesize new suppliers through market research, and conduct vendor qualification processes to ensure compliance with industry requirements.

Requirements:

  • 5-10 years management experience of a multi-site property portfolio.
  • General knowledge of all construction phases and local building and safety codes.
  • Ability to read drawings and possess a strong knowledge and operation skill switch life safety systems (wet and dry) fire pumps and controls.
  • Knowledge of building management systems and work order software.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and oral.
  • Strategic business planner with process-driven mindset and attention to detail.
