Patient Care Technician

As a Patient Care Technician in our ICU, you will provide safe and competent patient-centered care under the direction of the registered nurse or physician. You will participate as an active member of the Nursing Team on the assigned unit/department, supporting an organizational culture for Service Excellence and practicing the Service Excellence Standards to all customer groups.
Responsibilities:
Provides safe, competent patient-centered care for patients in accordance with facility policies, standards, and philosophy.
Participates as an active member of the Nursing Team on the assigned unit/department.

Qualifications:
High School diploma or GED
Experience in acute care setting preferred
Successful completion of PCT training program with certification is required.
De-escalation training (obtained CPI within six months of employment) in required specialty.
BLS (or obtained during orientation)
Trained in phlebotomy and vital signs measurement.
