Overview

Johnson Controls, a global leader in smart buildings, is seeking an Electronic Systems Sales Professional to join its team. This role involves promoting and selling Fire Safety/Fire Alarm Systems to contractor customers and end users within a designated territory.

Responsibilities
  • Establish contact with prospects and qualify potential buyers by scheduling sales calls, following up on leads, and using company marketing strategies.
  • Develop a sales strategy to gain customer understanding of product offerings, qualify and prioritize opportunities, and maintain appropriate territory records.
  • Conduct seminars, demonstrations, etc., to generate, develop, and qualify leads for prospective customers.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A highly motivated and success-driven individual with a high degree of self-discipline.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, good oral and written communication skills, and sales techniques.
  • The ability to quickly identify and qualify opportunities, persuade and close sales, and acquire necessary licenses.
