Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Caregiving Staff Coordinator to join our team at New Perspective. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining schedules, ensuring staffing requirements are met, and supporting communication between team members and managers.

About the Role:

  • Maintain accurate records of staff attendance, absences, and time off requests.
  • Coordinate scheduling to ensure adequate staffing levels.
  • Provide excellent customer service and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues.
  • Support caregivers in their roles, including passing medication and providing care to residents.
  • Manage daily labor management tasks, such as tracking missed punches and lunches/breaks.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in healthcare or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in staff scheduling or a similar role.
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and adapt to changing situations.
  • Strong knowledge of personal computers and related applications.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and maintain effective working relationships.
