About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work as a critical care pediatric nurse specialist in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. As a key member of the healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care to critically ill infants, children, and teenagers.

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate PICU RN to join our team. The successful candidate will have experience in providing care for children with life-threatening or high acuity conditions and will be able to work effectively in a collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities

The PICU RN will be responsible for:

  • Providing medications, intravenous fluids, and artificial nutrition to patients as prescribed by physicians
  • Collaborating with families, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to determine the best course of patient care and recovery
  • Working in the pediatric intensive care unit, an area within a hospital specializing in the care of critically ill infants, children, and teenagers
Requirements

To be considered for this role, applicants must:

  • Hold a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree or an Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) degree
  • Be licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) and maintain active state licensure
  • Have completed Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) training
