Salary

The estimated hourly wage for this position ranges from $26 to $32.50 per hour, reflecting the expertise and skills required for this role.

Job DescriptionClinical Services
  • Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions and services to youth and their families.
  • Administer mental health assessments, offer individual, family, and group therapy sessions.
  • Deliver crisis interventions as needed, maintaining direct service hours at 60% of total weekly work hours.
  • Diagnose mental health conditions in accordance with the most recent DSM publication.
  • Lead clinical groups focused on various topics.
Administrative Duties
  • Attend weekly/bi-weekly individual meetings with supervisors to review cases.
  • Participate in staff case consultations and department meetings.
  • Maintain awareness of other Friends of Youth departments and internal resources.
  • Stay updated on current best practices for various diagnoses and mental health concerns through research.
  • Maintain accurate and timely case records per WAC, COA, Medicaid, and King County requirements.
  • Maintain knowledge and understanding of school district policies related to crisis intervention and fire drills.
  • Attend school meetings as necessary.
Case Management and Outreach
  • Offer case consultation, linkage to, advocacy, and coordination of services with collateral contacts for assigned clients.
  • Assist in outreach to communities as needed.
  • Develop and maintain a working knowledge of community resources.
  • Maintain positive relations with community referral sources.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Master's Degree in a human service field.
  • Licensed with the State of Washington as an LICSW/LSWAIC, LMHC/A, or LMFT/A.
  • Minimum of 1 year working with children, youth, and/or families.
  • Satisfactory passing of a criminal background check, including fingerprints.
  • Satisfactory passing of a tuberculosis (TB) test.
  • A reliable vehicle, valid Washington State driver's license, auto liability insurance, and a safe driving record defined by Friends of Youth.
  • Proof of COVID-19 vaccination.
