Job Overview:

King Aerospace is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead A&P Mechanic to join our team in Bentonville, AR. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and repair of aircraft, ensuring that all work is performed to the highest standards of quality and safety.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and mentor a team of A&P Mechanics, providing guidance and support to ensure that all maintenance tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Coordinate with the Maintenance Manager to prioritize tasks, allocate resources, and ensure that all work is completed on time and within budget.
  • Conduct regular inspections of aircraft and equipment to identify potential issues and ensure that all maintenance is performed to the highest standards.
  • Develop and implement maintenance procedures and protocols to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure that all maintenance activities are aligned with business objectives and customer needs.
  • Provide training and guidance to junior mechanics to help them develop their skills and knowledge.
  • Conduct regular safety audits to identify potential hazards and implement measures to mitigate risks.

Requirements:

  • FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) mechanic license required.
  • Seven (7) or more years of heavy maintenance experience on large commercial aircraft.
  • Proven track record of leadership and management experience, with a strong focus on quality, safety, and customer service.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues, customers, and suppliers.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedures manuals.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex issues.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines, with a strong focus on delivering high-quality results.
