Course Overview:

The Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) program is a comprehensive course designed to equip students with the knowledge and skills required to provide high-quality care to patients. As a Nursing Education Specialist, you will be responsible for delivering classroom instruction and clinical training to students, ensuring they meet the program's rigorous standards.

Course Details:

The program consists of 46 hours of theory/lab and 60 hours of clinical instruction. Students will learn through a combination of online lectures, skill videos, and hands-on training in a hospital setting. Upon completion, students must register for the state competency written and clinical exam and complete a criminal background check/fingerprinting to obtain their LNA license.

Requirements:

Candidates must possess an unencumbered LPN license in New Hampshire, have completed a Train the Trainer Program, and have 2 years' experience with the elderly or chronically ill. Alternatively, candidates may have an unencumbered RN license in NH or a multi-state RN license from another compact state, with Baccalaureate educational preparation and 2 years' experience with the elderly or chronically ill.
