Human Resources Generalist and Compensation Specialist, Vice President

Job Purpose:
BTIG is seeking a highly skilled professional to join its HR team as a Compensation and HR Generalist, Vice President. This role involves overseeing a broad spectrum of compensation elements, including base salary, variable compensation, deferred compensation, and commissions. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with key stakeholders across business leadership, Human Resources, and Finance departments to ensure compliance and effective execution of compensation strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer and oversee onboarding and offboarding processes, including background checks and exit interviews.
- Work with HR Business Partners, leaders, and managers to support the annual compensation process.
- Leverage understanding of the assigned business groups and talent pools to make informed recommendations on broader compensation strategy and individual compensation decisions.
- Monitor and review individual compensation decisions to ensure consistency in recognizing performance, skill set, and years of experience.
- Develop and maintain HR compensation reports and analyses to drive informative insights for leaders.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in Human Resources, preferably in a professional services organization.
- Bachelor's degree in business, communications, psychology, or a related field.
- Ability to prioritize, multitask, and excel in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Aptitude for problem-solving with a creative approach.
- Unwavering commitment to integrity, professionalism, and discretion with confidential matters.
- Ability to build effective partnerships with employees across the organization.
- Excellent communication and active listening skills.
- Experience with ADP Workforce Now, including implementation, best practices, and report building.
- Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and organizational skills.

Compensation:
- BTIG offers a competitive compensation and benefits package, with a salary range based on factors including location, experience, skills, qualifications, and other business needs.
- The current estimated base salary range for this role is $140,000 - $175,000 per year, with additional forms of compensation possible.
