At AnchorCM, we are seeking a seasoned Full Cycle Accountant to spearhead our financial operations. This pivotal role is responsible for overseeing the entire accounting cycle, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in all financial transactions.

Job Overview

This position requires a strong understanding of accounting principles, construction industry experience, and the ability to multitask with precision.

Salary: We offer a competitive salary range of $85,000 - $110,000 per annum, commensurate with experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Management: Manage the full cycle of accounting processes, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and financial reporting.
  • Financial Analysis: Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP and company policies.
  • Bank Reconciliation: Reconcile bank statements and balance sheet accounts.
  • Project Accounting: Oversee job costing and project accounting, ensuring accurate allocation of costs and timely invoicing.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain and update financial records and documentation.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes, providing insights and recommendations.
  • Financial Coordination: Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and suppliers to resolve financial issues and discrepancies.
  • Tax Compliance: Prepare and file tax returns, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Audit Support: Assist in internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and explanations.
  • Cash Flow Management:
  • Internal Controls: Implement and maintain effective internal controls to safeguard company assets.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Certification: CPA certification is preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of full cycle accounting experience, preferably in the construction industry.
  • Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting. Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or similar).
  • Soft Skills: Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
