We are seeking a highly skilled Chief Financial Strategist to join our dynamic Finance Team at Envalior, a pioneering materials company with a rich heritage of over 100 years.

About the Role:

As a Chief Financial Strategist, you will play a crucial role in driving financial excellence and supporting our mission to innovate and lead in high-performance materials. Your primary responsibilities will include preparing group reporting in line with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and internal guidelines, ensuring accuracy and compliance with local GAAP and US tax regulations.

Your Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and Conduct Projects: Spearhead mergers and acquisitions (M&A), restructuring, system migrations, and other accounting initiatives, exercising independent judgment and decision-making within the scope of the role.
• Financial Statement Preparation: Independently prepare financial statements, including balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and explanatory notes, ensuring compliance with IFRS and internal guidelines.
• Tax Compliance: Assist in the preparation of tax accounts to ensure accuracy and compliance, demonstrating expertise in tax compliance and maintaining direct communication with the Tax Team.
• Group Reporting: Prepare group reporting independently, ensuring compliance with IFRS and internal guidelines, and technical delivery of datasets on a monthly, quarterly, yearly, or project basis for both national and international legal entities.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Financial Management, or Accounting.
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in corporate accounting, financial management, or within an auditing firm.
• Demonstrated hands-on approach with strong ownership of a wide range of financial management topics.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with a strong business partner mindset.
• Possess a solid understanding of the General Ledger and a strong motivation to continuously learn and improve.
• Strong analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving abilities.
