We are seeking a skilled Electronics Assembler to join our team at Altimeter Solutions in North Amityville, NY. As an Electronics Assembler, you will be responsible for performing a wide range of electronic or electro-mechanical assembly operations, including skilled hand work and utilizing automated production equipment.
Key Responsibilities- Comprehend and interpret technical specifications, terms, and documents to determine methods and sequence of operations in performing wiring, component installation, hand soldering, and cable harnessing on assembly units.
- Makes setups and adjustments holding tolerances to blueprint specifications.
- Develop and implement efficient assembly processes to meet production goals.
- Work under general supervision, with a focus on developing individual contributor skills.
- High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 4 years of prior relevant experience.
- Good communication skills, with the ability to read and communicate work status in English.
- Pneumatic drills and sanders and riveting background/experience.
- Ability to stand on their feet for long periods of time.
- Associate Degree with 0 to 2 years of prior related experience.
- Strong computer skills, including MS Office.
