Job Description

International SOS seeks a skilled Clinical Case Manager to join our team in managing the healthcare needs of TRICARE beneficiaries overseas.

About the Role

This is a critical position that requires close collaboration with TRICARE, our client, and their beneficiaries. As a Clinical Case Manager, you will be responsible for delivering professional and effective medical assistance services while maintaining International SOS's highest standards of excellence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain professionalism and empathy when interacting with beneficiaries and colleagues.
  • Conduct thorough telephone triage and assess care needs accurately.
  • Review and authorize or deny healthcare services in accordance with policy guidelines.
  • Provide personalized medical assessments and advice to beneficiaries.
  • Liaise with healthcare providers to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Utilize Electronic Health Records (EHR) to communicate confidential medical information securely.
  • Ensure quality case management and escalate issues promptly as needed.
  • Promote evidence-based decision-making and manage complaints effectively.
  • Support medical evacuations and staff training across TRICARE regions.
Required Qualifications and Skills

To succeed in this role, you should possess:

  • A current and unrestricted nursing license from any US state or territory.
  • An Associate's or Bachelor's degree in nursing from an accredited program.
  • Previous experience in clinical case management and telephone triage is desirable.
  • Broad medical knowledge and expertise in areas such as primary care, acute care, or cruise ship nursing.
  • Strong computer literacy skills and excellent customer service skills.
Salary and Benefits

The estimated annual salary for this position is $65,000 - $85,000, commensurate with experience. Additionally, International SOS offers a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plans, and opportunities for professional growth and development.
