Racquet Sports Instructor Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Racquet Sports Instructor to join our team at HealthFitness in Bentonville, AR. As an instructor, you will design and teach high-quality individual/group tennis lessons to children and adults of varying abilities, creating a fun and engaging playing environment that addresses the skill level of students.

This part-time role requires 4 hours of teaching per week and may involve private lessons. Our ideal candidate has one or more years of experience teaching racquet sports to children and adults, as well as certification in adult and pediatric CPR/AED and First Aid from a recognized organization such as the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and teach individual and group racquet lessons tailored to different age groups and skill levels
  • Provide minor court/equipment maintenance, preparation/breakdown of badminton equipment for events
  • Collaborate with colleagues to create engaging learning experiences for participants
Requirements
  • Minimum one year of experience teaching racquet sports to children and adults
  • Certification in adult and pediatric CPR/AED and First Aid from a recognized organization
  • Strong interpersonal communication and customer service skills, including the ability to motivate others
  • Computer proficiency in MS Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook, with working knowledge of member management systems and databases
Compensation and Benefits

The estimated salary for this position is $28-$30 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications. Additionally, we offer competitive pay, health and financial benefits, and opportunities for personal and professional growth.
