Job Description

">

The post holder will be responsible for providing advanced clinical training in the practice of psychology across child and family assessment, treatment, and consultation services. This will involve approximately 80% of the time spent on supervised clinical activities, including diagnostic evaluations, psychological testing, and psychotherapy in outpatient specialty clinic settings. The clinics provide care to children and adolescents with a range of conditions, including acute and chronic medical illnesses, autism, intellectual and developmental disability, pain conditions, substance use disorders, eating disorders, mood and anxiety disorders, ADHD, behavioral difficulties, traumatic stress, and somatic symptom-related disorders.

The successful candidate will also participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and may have opportunities to work on the pediatric inpatient consultation and liaison service. Approximately 20% of the time will be dedicated to academic responsibilities, including participation in the Pediatric Brain Tumor training program. In this role, you will work with the Pediatric Neuropsychology team to deliver specialized assessment and consultation services to the pediatric brain tumor team.

Requirements

">

We are looking for a highly motivated individual with a doctoral degree in clinical psychology or a related field from an APA-accredited doctoral program and completion of an APA-accredited internship. Applicants must be eligible to pursue provisional licensure as a psychologist in North Carolina.

Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this role is $60,000 - $70,000 per annum, depending on experience. The package includes comprehensive health insurance, retirement benefits, and a generous paid time off policy.
