Project Management Specialist

At Paycom Online, we are seeking a highly skilled Project Management Specialist to lead our implementation projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders.

The Project Management Specialist will be responsible for defining detailed implementation plans for all customers, ensuring timely and accurate completion of projects, and driving results through effective time management and self-management habits. The successful candidate will also have experience with project management tools and software, as well as the ability to provide technical and functional support to internal and external parties.

The Project Management Specialist will work closely with the internal implementation team to create and execute employee usage strategies, manage and allocate resources, and ensure all open implementation tasks are completed. The ideal candidate will also have experience with risk management, change management, and training and mentoring.

Key responsibilities of the Project Management Specialist include:

  • Defining detailed implementation plans for all customers
  • Ensuring timely and accurate completion of projects
  • Driving results through effective time management and self-management habits
  • Providing technical and functional support to internal and external parties
  • Managing and allocating resources
  • Ensuring all open implementation tasks are completed
  • Leading the internal implementation team in the creation and execution of employee usage strategies
  • Managing risk and ensuring compliance with Paycom policies and procedures

The Project Management Specialist will be required to travel up to 50% of the time, including overnight stays. A bachelor's degree and certifications such as Six Sigma, CAPM, CSM, PMP, or MBA are preferred. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
