Job Title: Occupational Therapist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team at St. Joseph's Healthcare System. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a critical role in evaluating, planning, and administering individualized therapeutic treatment programs aimed at restoring or improving function, or preventing disability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate patients to identify their strengths, weaknesses, and functional abilities.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address patients' needs and goals.
  • Provide occupational therapy services to patients, including evaluations, treatments, and progress monitoring.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and optimal patient outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient progress and treatment plans.

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
  • Current NJ State License in Occupational Therapy.
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required at time of hire or within first 3 months of hire.
  • FIM (Functional Independence Measurement) certification to be taken following employment and training at Wayne.
