About the Role

Clayco is a leading full-service construction firm seeking a skilled Scheduling and Planning Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our project management team, you will be responsible for building and maintaining project schedules, ensuring timely completion of projects, and providing critical support to our project managers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain project schedules, including cost and resource loading, to ensure accurate project timelines and budgets.
  • Collaborate with project managers, superintendents, and owners' representatives to collect and update project data, ensuring seamless communication and coordination.
  • Generate periodic performance reports, including critical activities, baseline deviation, earned value performance index, and project cash flow reports, to provide stakeholders with valuable insights and metrics.
  • Analyze and validate network logic to ensure compliance with project team intent and Clayco's standard guidelines.
  • Assist in preparing monthly schedule reports, including drafting the narrative and ensuring timely submission.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction, or a related field.
  • 0-3 years of scheduling experience, with expertise in Primavera P-6 and Microsoft Project.
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and willingness to update skills regularly.
  • Knowledge of BIM and its relation to scheduling and sequencing is a plus.
  • Ability to travel and work in a fast-paced environment, with excellent communication and listening skills.
